Bio

Nancy attended both college and law school at the University of Georgia, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, Cum Laude and with General Honors. After receiving her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, in May of 1993, Nancy began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable Morris J. Sandstead, in the Boulder District Court. After completing her clerkship, Nancy began private practice which focuses on:
  • Real Estate: including real estate acquisition, holding entities, sales, loans, due diligence, easements and landlord/tenant matters
  • Small Business: including choice of entity, contracts, operating agreements, leases, and negotiations
  • Water: including acquisition of water rights, plans of augmentation, ditch and ditch rights, and easements
Nancy has also taught the Legal Environment of Business, at Fort Lewis College, as an adjunct professor, she served on the La Plata County Water Policy Task Force and she is a member of the Southwest Colorado Bar Association.
